Beard And Mustache Transplant Techniques
The beard and mustache transplant are almost identical to the hair transplant procedure. The only difference is that there is more than one technique in a hair transplant surgery. For instance, there are DHI and FUE. However, the DHI technique is the most used and recommended for beard and mustache transplants.
There are three main techniques used in beard and mustache transplants which are:
- DHI Technique:
It is the best technique for beard and mustache hair transplant, in which follicles are harvested from the donor area via the Micro Motor to be implanted directly in the recipient area by a CHOI Implanter. Only with one click the doctor can open a channel and implant the follicle at once. The process takes around 6-8 hours, transplanting a maximum of 3.500 hair follicles.
- Mega DHI Technique:
The Choi pens are used to execute the Mega DHI technique over two sessions on two consecutive days. The Mega DHI technique allows a maximum of 7.000 hair follicles to be transplanted, giving the hair more density and attractiveness.
- Extremely DHI Technique:
Extremely DHI technique goes through the same stages as the DHI technique. However, it enables the doctor to transplant up to 5.000 follicles for 12-15 hours over a session.

There are some conditions that one should meet to become a good candidate for a beard and mustache transplant, and these are as follows:
-
- Having an incomplete beard.
- The candidate must be in good general health.
- The candidate must have healthy hair in the donor area, where the follicles will be harvested for transplantation in the chin area.

- The candidate should have no skin diseases that might hinder the hair transplant.
Eyebrow Transplant
What Is an Eyebrow Transplant
As well as hair loss, eyebrow hair loss is also a common problem. A natural eyebrow hair transplant is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure aiming to increase the density of eyebrows suffering from thinness or complete hair loss in that area. The follicles are removed from the donor area (the back of the scalp) to replace the missing eyebrow follicles in a manner that fits the shape of the face.
As the techniques and the operation are conducted, eyebrow transplantation is almost identical to hair transplantation. However, eyebrow transplantation operations may be influenced by fashion. The transplant can be performed not because the patient has thin eyebrows but because they want thicker eyebrows due to the influence of current trends.
